Disney Junior Show Staff handles toddlers rough

Disney California Adventure - Disney Junior Show Staff handles toddlers rough
Very disturbing incident at the Disney junior show today at 12:30. A little boy ran up to the stage, I'd say he was about 4 years old, and rather than being stopped before getting to the top of the stairs he made it to the very top where a disney employee dragged him down by pulling his leg. The little boy was startled and got up as his mother reached to grab him when the same woman yanked him by the arm. At this point his mother was already grabbing him and the yanking of the arm was just overdoing things, clearly it was anger rather than a safety thing. I stayed after the show to speak to the woman and to her manager and they had every excuse from another person should have stopped him early on to preventing the little boy from falling in. While safety is a concern, physically abusing a small child is never the answer. The woman seemed angry as she yanked the little boy by the arm. I'm absolutely horrified with the way the situation was handled... From posting on Disney Facebook group I've learned that this has happened before.

Disney is big corporation that. Hires.

Many. . They should have control and training.. There are many customers but the mother should have control.

And.

what. should the outcome be.

Guest

Sounds like the kid should have been on a leash.

Guest

The kid was an out of control brat that should have not been allowed to run up there. This is on the parents not Disney.

They should not have had to pull the heathen brat down. Suck it up *** this is all the parents and that awful out of control brats fault.

Disney is not at fault. people need to control their monsters.

This is not a "customer service" site, you ***. For the third time, stop meddling, and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!

None of this even concerns you. Time to move on now!!

Guest

the woman might have been scared, causing you to think she is angry. jerking the child's arm was reactionary to save him.

He absoutely could have fallen.

The anger you saw was not abuse, but fear and reaction. let his mama handle it

Dona Yja

This is called meddling in affairs that do not concern you. If the mother of the child has a problem, let her do the complaining, not you. My mother used to say "mind your own business, not others."

Guest

Well now I'm enraged by this!! So enraged, in fact, that I intend to stay up ALL NIGHT posting comments on hundreds of unrelated social media sites complaining!

I really feel like I should get some sort of compensation for this!

Is there a manager on this site?

No??? Oh, what HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Rude to 4 year old on his Birthday

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Hello, I wanted to report an employee at the swing ride at California Adventure Park. Her name was Ellen and she treated my 4 year old son with such disrespect and made him cry. He was super excite to ride that ride. He is 41inches tall. I have doctor documentation. He rode all the "big boy" rides like tower of terror, splash mountain, star tours, etc. All of those also checked his height. Ellen from Orange County on 1/17/2016 around 8:30pm pushed my sons head down and rudely told him no. We also filed a report at the park but had to leave because my son was tired. He had a constant smile on his face which was wiped off when that employee did that to him. He cried and I had to explain to my 4 year old why there were rude mean people at Disneyland, the happiest place on earth. Everyone else all day had been soo amazing and wished him a happy birthday. He had his Birthday pin along with his 1st time visit pin. She didn't say happy birthday or give him a chance to correctly stand up. Everyone in line noticed the injustice. I took video of the whole thing. I really hope you talk to her and I would like her to apologize to my 4 year old and my wife and I. Her pushing my sons head down is not okay and her rude behavior was completely un-called for. My wife and I spent a lot of money at both parks and traveled from Scottsdale Arizona to give my son a birthday he would really enjoy. We didn't expect to have it end in such a bad way. I would like to tell you about the great people that were working at the following rides. Toy Story Shooting Game. The team working around 6-7pm that day were super amazing and put the biggest smile on his face. The Nemo ride the day before 1/16/2016 around 4:30pm were also the best. Everyone around both parks showed such love and made my son soo happy except for the one that pushed his head under the bar. I was planning on bring my other son that is turning 3 next year but now I'm having second thoughts. Its sad how one really bad experience could ruin a trip. She should have never laid hands on him. Also there are correct ways to say things. Screaming no and pushing my 4 year olds head down was soo wrong. Again, I would really like an apology to my son. My email is xxxxxxx and my personal phone number is xxx.xxx.xxxx. A facetime Iphone call would be even better. I have an Iphone to receive those calls. I know Disney will find a way to fix this and restore my son's faith in the park. I asked him today if he wanted to go back and he said no because of the mean lady. That just about broke my heart. Thank you for taking time to read my message and I hope to hear back from you and ELLEN from ORANGE COUNTY soon. I plan to share the video online if I don't get an apology. Definitely not a threat just letting you know how offended we are.

Reason of review:
Treated 4yr old son bad and pushed his head down.

Preferred solution: I want Ellen from Orange County working the swing ride on 1/17/2016 at 8:30pm to call/facetime my 4 year old and say sorry for pushing his little head down and treating him like crap on his Birthday. I would also like Disneyland to properly discipline her
